Travis King, CIMA®
Managing Director | Financial Advisor
Travis began his finance career in 1991 and remains committed to helping his clients with the financial decisions they will face, with particular focus on the decisions they may not have prepared for. As a managing director, within the Dayton office, Travis focuses his planning efforts on helping people understand the realities of the financial markets and working to avoid the critical mistakes that can derail a financial plan.
Living on his own since the age of 17, Travis put himself through Wright State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business with a dual major in accounting and finance, while working multiple jobs to obtain both living and educational expenses. He recognized early on the importance of hard work and the value of having a plan. He has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, the only financial services credential accredited by the American National Standards Institute, representing the highest level of credibility, integrity and investment consulting knowledge.
Travis is a proud Daytonian. He and his wife, Patsy, live in Centerville and have three sons; Trey, Chris and Landon. Trey attends and plays football at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where he is studying finance. Chris is a Broadcast Communications major at University of Dayton volunteering with Flyer TV and ESPN3 for play-by-play. Landon is in High School, a good student-athlete and a better snow sportsman than his father. They are also active members of Southbrook Christian Church.
Investment & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) is the owner of the certification marks “CIMA,” and “Certified Investment Management Analyst.” Use of CIMA, and/or Certified Investment Management Analyst signifies that the user has successfully completed The Institute’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for investment management professionals.
