Travis King, CIMA®
Managing Director | Family Wealth Advisor
For more than 35 years, Travis King has helped families make confident financial decisions through changing markets, evolving tax laws, and every stage of life. As a Family Wealth Advisor and Managing Director, he serves clients across the country, with particularly deep relationships throughout Ohio and Florida, where he works from offices in Dayton and Sarasota. His ability to serve clients seamlessly across both regions has made him a trusted advisor to families who value long-term planning, personalized guidance, and continuity across generations.
Licensed in more than 40 states, Travis believes that wealth management is about far more than investment performance. It is about helping families navigate life’s defining moments—preparing for retirement, minimizing taxes, preserving family wealth, managing trusts, planning charitable giving, and creating financial confidence when uncertainty arises.
Clients appreciate Travis’s uncommon perspective. Having advised families through four decades of market cycles—including recessions, bull markets, financial crises, and periods of heightened volatility—he brings a steady voice when emotions often drive financial decisions. His advice is rooted in discipline, experience, and a commitment to making complex financial issues understandable.
A graduate of Wright State University with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance, Travis continued his education through graduate studies at Vanderbilt University before earning the prestigious Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. The CIMA® designation represents one of the highest standards in investment consulting and fiduciary excellence.
Every financial plan Travis develops is built around the unique goals of the family sitting across the table. His process combines sophisticated tax analysis, retirement income planning, Monte Carlo probability modeling, investment management, estate planning coordination, and trustee guidance to help clients preserve and grow wealth with purpose. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, he believes every recommendation should reflect a client’s values, priorities, and long-term vision.
This commitment to personalized service has earned Travis recognition as one of Ohio’s Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, most recently in 2026.
Away from the office, Travis is an avid cyclist, passionate skier, and dedicated youth sports coach with more than two decades of volunteer coaching experience. He and his wife, Patsy, have been married for 30 years and reside in Centerville, Ohio. Together they have three sons: Trey, Assistant Director of Player Personnel and Football Recruiting Scout at the University of Pittsburgh; Chris, a broadcaster and educator at Centerville High School; and Landon, a finance student at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics.
